How we did it
- 22 races whose rules for the 2026 or 2027 edition we read in full: the article on changing the holder, the cost, the deadline and the penalties. They are the ones we have on the website, from October 2026 to April 2027; half of them in the Valencian Community. They are not a sample of the whole of Spain.
- 62 races that sell out or hold a ballot (road running, trail running and triathlon), reviewed between 24 Sep and 15 Oct 2026.
- Press figures include their source. Pasadorsal is a free website for transferring bibs through the official process; none of these races pays us.
