Reporting illegal content
If you see a listing, a review, a message or a profile that you believe is illegal or breaches these terms, let us know even if you don't have an account: with the ‘Report’ button if it's to hand, with the contact form or by email to ayuda@pasadorsal.es. Include the exact link, why you believe it is illegal, your name and your email, and state that you are reporting in good faith and that the information is accurate and complete.
We confirm that we have received it, review it promptly and impartially, and tell you what we have decided and why.
What Pasadorsal is
Pasadorsal puts runners who can't run in touch with others looking for a bib, always through each race organiser's official transfer procedure. Pasadorsal does not sell bibs: the transfer is authorised and carried out by the organiser through its official procedure. Nor does it organise races or take part in registration.
For now only bib transfers are available: the seller hands over a code or sends an official link to the buyer's email, and the buyer re-registers and pays the organiser directly. In addition, some organisers use Pasadorsal as their official waiting list (see below). The Pasadorsal service is free: it charges nothing and neither receives nor holds anyone's money. Races with official resale or that are non-transferable only have a guide with the official link, with no listings, unless the organiser runs its official waiting list on Pasadorsal.
Who does what
Whoever transfers a bib is a private individual, not a business: the agreement between the seller and the person who reserves is an agreement between private individuals and is not governed by consumer protection law. Pasadorsal acts only as an intermediary.
Pasadorsal publishes the listings and the guides, runs the queue and the turns, applies the deadlines and rules as explained here and in How it works, and passes the seller the details needed for the transfer. The seller only publishes their own bibs, with true details, and hands over the code or sends the link on time. The person who reserves provides their details on time, redeems the code or link and pays the registration fee to the organiser. The organiser decides whether to accept the transfer and charges whatever its rules say.
The seller uses the details of the person who reserves only to carry out the transfer: they don't keep them afterwards or pass them on to anyone. Our internal disputes are there to resolve problems with a transaction quickly, but they don't stop you from going to court.
How we order listings
Each new bib is first offered in exclusive turns to its race's queue, in order of arrival, and is then published for everyone. In a race's list, featured listings, marked as such, come first, followed by the most recent; you can also sort them by price. Featuring a listing will be a paid service once there are payments; for now there are no featured listings. No payment changes the order of the queue.
Official waiting list
Some organisers use Pasadorsal as their official waiting list. If you join it (in the race's queue, by ticking its box), the places the organiser releases are offered to you in turns, in order of arrival, by email and, if you connect it, by Telegram. Each turn lasts as long as the organiser sets, from 15 minutes to 72 hours, never beyond the place's validity; turns shorter than 8 hours don't start at night. If you let turns in a row expire without responding, they count in the same way as listing turns; ‘Skip turn’ carries no penalty.
If you accept a place, you see the organiser's registration code or link and you register and pay on its platform: the registration, its price and its conditions are the organiser's, and the organiser is responsible for the code or link. Let us know once you've registered. An accepted place can't be returned through Pasadorsal: if you can't use it, write to the organiser. While you hold an official place for a race, you don't receive listing turns for that race. On race day the list closes.
Your account
To publish a bib, reserve one or join a race's queue you need an account, and to have one you must be 18 or over. You undertake to provide true details, to publish only bibs that are yours and to follow each race's rules. Payments between users are not allowed: in a bib transfer, the buyer pays only the organiser.
How the contract is made
You sign in with your email (we send you a code or a link) or with Google, enter your display name, confirm that you are 18 or over and accept these terms by ticking a box. When you reserve a bib or accept a turn, you accept them again. Before confirming, you can correct anything you have entered in the form itself or by going back.
We keep the version of the terms you accept, the date and the IP address with your sign-up and with each reservation. You can view and save the text of each version on this website. The service and these terms are only available in Spanish.
Reservations and deadlines
A reservation commits you to the seller; that agreement between private individuals has no right of withdrawal. The Pasadorsal service is free and you can stop using it whenever you like. If, after reserving, you can't run, you can publish the bib again.
Each step has its deadline (providing your details, handing over the code or link, redeeming it), shown in the transaction itself and in How it works. If the code or link isn't redeemed in time, the organiser no longer accepts the transfer and the transaction is closed. Each reservation is made under the version of these terms in force at that moment, which is recorded.
Rules and consequences
These are Pasadorsal's rules and what happens if they aren't followed. Some consequences are automatic and others are decided by a member of the team; whenever we withdraw a listing or block an account, we tell you by email, giving the specific reason.
| Conduct | Consequence | Who sees it | How to ask for a review |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reserving a bib and not providing your details for the transfer within the deadline. | The reservation expires, the bib is offered again and a breach is recorded against you as a buyer. | It is public: it appears on your profile, on your listings and when you get a turn. | Write to us from the transaction, through support or to the contact email: a person reviews it and, if it wasn't your fault, we cancel it. |
| Transferring a bib and not handing over the code or sending the link within the deadline, or losing a dispute in which the person who reserved was right. | The transaction is cancelled, your listing is withdrawn and a breach is recorded against you as a seller. | It is public: it appears on your profile and on your listings. | Write to us from the transaction, through support or to the contact email: a person reviews it and, if it wasn't your fault, we cancel it. |
| Letting several turns in a row expire without responding. | You automatically move to the back of that race's queue. Turns you pass with ‘Skip turn’ don't count, nor do those that expire at night (Spanish mainland time) or those you couldn't take for reasons beyond your control (the notification arrived late, the turn lasted less than 10 minutes or you already had a transaction for that race). Skipping a turn, or accepting it and the transaction being confirmed, resets the count to zero. | Only you, in your place in the queue. | Write to us through support: we can give you your place back. |
| Publishing a bib that isn't yours, with false details or with a proof of registration that doesn't match, or in breach of the race rules. | We withdraw the listing and tell you by email, giving the reason. | You. The listing is no longer shown. | Reply to the email or write to us through support. |
| Writing phone numbers, emails, links, bank accounts, identity documents or off-site payment methods in the chat. | The chat filter hides them automatically when they are sent. | Both parties see ‘[hidden]’ in their place. | Write to us through support if you think it has hidden something by mistake. |
| Writing a review that is insulting, false or contains another person's personal data. | We hide it and it no longer counts towards the average. | It is no longer shown on the profile of the person who received it. | Write to us through support. |
| Deceiving, insulting or harassing other users, asking for payments outside the website, using several accounts to get round these rules or breaking the law. | We block the account: your live listings are withdrawn, you leave the queues and your sessions are closed. We tell you by email, giving the specific reason. | You. Your listings are no longer shown. | Reply to the blocking email or write to us at the contact email: a person reviews it. |
Breaches are a counter: they don't expire, but on their own they don't block your account or change your place in the queue. If a measure seems unfair to you, ask us to review it: it is always reviewed by a person, who replies with their decision and the reasons for it.
Fees
Bib transfer: free. Any other fees are shown before you pay. Protected purchase is not available yet: its terms and fee will be published here before it is switched on.
Race guides
The guides are written by Pasadorsal from each race's public rules and are not official: each one links to its source. Race names and trademarks belong to their organisers and are used only to identify the race; Pasadorsal is not affiliated with any organiser unless expressly stated.
Liability
Pasadorsal is liable for its own obligations under the law: that the website works, that it passes on the transfer details correctly and that it applies the deadlines and rules as announced. It is not liable for what the organiser or other users decide, or for the race being changed or cancelled. If a detail in a guide is wrong through our fault, we are liable under the law; even so, always check the official rules.
Whoever publishes content (listings, reviews, messages) is responsible for it; we remove it diligently as soon as we know it is illegal. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
Race organisers
If you organise a race and don't want it to appear on Pasadorsal with listings, write to us at the contact email or use the contact form: within 24 hours it becomes non-transferable and only the guide with your official information remains.
If you want to use Pasadorsal as your official waiting list, the conditions are in Official waiting list conditions.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms to adapt them to a law or a ruling, to add or change features of the service (for example, when payments start), to correct errors or to improve security or prevent abuse. We will notify you of important changes by email at least 15 days in advance and ask you to accept them; if you don't agree, you can delete your account free of charge from Settings before they apply. Open transactions continue under the version you accepted.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you live. If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts where you live, and we can only bring a claim against you before those courts.
Before that, you can write to us at ayuda@pasadorsal.es or use the contact form: we will reply within 15 days at most. If we don't resolve it, you can go to the competent Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo) of your autonomous community.
